Design Development and Prototyping
We are designers at heart. We love the challenge of design and finding solutions that streamline functionality while enhancing aesthetics. Our team of designers can work from images, sketches, historical references, or rough concepts. Patternmaking is the blue print to building any great design, and we’re adept at making patterns for products ranging from three-dimensional objects to handbags and apparel.
Our development rate is $85/hr.
Production Sewing
We love making multiples! Our industry-veteran sewers and cutters + our vast array of machinery has us well-equipped to produce most sewn products. Our cutting room has two 40-foot-long cutting tables. We can spread, layer, and cut your fabric with an electric blade or custom cut with hand scissors. Our tidy sewing room is filled with natural light and spacious working surfaces. Quality and attention to detail is our competitive edge. While we can offer low minimums, we prefer working with clients that can provide consistent, consecutive work.
Our production rate is $55/hr. We use this to calculate a per-piece price.
Packaging
Folding, tagging, wrapping, labeling are all possible for products we are producing. We work closely with a local fulfillment center, if you also need assistance with logistics.
Sample Making
We offer sample sewing as a prerequisite to an initial production order. This serves as a “time study” for our production quotes and a tool for clients to review our quality. This step comes after patternmaking and prototyping.
Our sample making/time study rate is $60/hr.
Material Resourcing
We can help you define the right materials to suit your design and where to find them. Our experience in the industry has provided us with a full library of contacts for fabrics, trims, notions, and ancillary services.
Material resourcing is an extension our development services at $85/hr.
Digital Services
Our team can digitize pattern pieces, develop custom grade rules, and grade digitized patterns. Shrink tests, pattern matching, marker making, and marker printing are also available upon request.
Most digital services are priced depending on the number of pattern pieces/the number of sizes on a marker. We can provide details on digital services pricing once a new client application is approved.
